Dr. Lara Thompson

Naturopathic and Homeopathic Physician

Reiki Master, Craniosacral Therapist

My philosophy of practice...

I love to get to know patients - learning about you plays a vital role in understanding your health - everything's connected. When working with me expect a different doctor-patient relationship with a non-invasive natural blending of down-to-earth heart, humor, soul, and science.

There are many wonderful aspects to having trained as a naturopathic physician.

I use my training and eclectic skill set, informed by clinical experience and research, to translate the signals from your body addressing the root of health issues in the most natural way possible to support your healing process.

Not sure what a naturopathic physician is - check this out for more info.

Finding health care providers that validate and support you is priceless.  Maybe you've been shuffled around to different doctors, had symptoms or concerns dismissed by providers or you're just looking for expert guidance on natural health or alternative solutions. I have been on all sides of the table, as a patient with chronic health issues myself and as a caregiver.

There is no right or wrong medicine or treatment approach because your body is unique. Know that you're not alone - think of me as your healthcare sidekick finding supportive ways to address your health concerns.

All bodies, All identities, All ages are welcome - I am a white-bodied ally, neurodiverse, sex positive, 2SLGBTQIAP*, trauma informed, weight inclusive/fat friendly/Health At Every Size®/Intuitive Eating® provider.

I am currently accepting new patients for naturopathic specialty or primary care.

A bit more about me outside of the clinic...

Outside of the clinic you may find me on a trail with my rescue dogs, spending time with loved ones, listening to a true crime podcast, geeking out about a research article or new tarot deck and can't resist catching up on sleep or bingeing a good TV show!  I've lived all over the US, with my family now split between the midwest and east coast regions of the country.  I moved to WA to attend naturopathic medical school and never left. Before medical school, I was a social worker then transitioned to clinical research in the behavioral and preventive medicine field.
