Dear Sound Holistic Health Patients:
We have exciting clinic updates to share!
Dr. Lara Thompson is a familiar face in a new role - she has been a part of our administrative team the last few years and has now joined us as a naturopathic physician. Both Dr. Shaw and Dr. Kuehner are excited to have her join the team.
Here’s a little blurb about are newest addition:
Dr. Thompson is committed to helping patients create their best life. Patients are drawn to her compassion, down to earth style of practice and eclectic skill set using homeopathy, nutrition, and Western herbs in primary care along with naturopathic physical medicine including gentle adjustments, craniosacral therapy, hydrotherapy, and visceral manipulation. She practices whole person medicine seeing patients of all ages, identities, body types, lifestyles and conditions focusing on the balance of mind, body, and spirit in relationship to health. Clinical interests include but are not limited to chronic pain, fibromyalgia, sensitivities (environmental, emotional, or chemical), headaches, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and other mental health concerns.
Dr. Thi has made a guest appearance below supporting Dr. Thompson as our latest addition.
“I've known Dr. Thompson since 2011 as we were in the same class at Bastyr University. I’m so happy to hear that she has accepted a position at Sound Holistic Health! I've always known her to be kind, compassionate, thoughtful and thorough. She is gentle and heart-centered and as a patient, I would want someone like her to be in my corner because she will have many recommendations for me to consider, and her intuition and deep listening skills will guide her to chart out a healing journey that's most effective and efficient. I'm grateful that Sound Holistic Health continues to be a place of deep healing because of people like Dr. Shaw, Dr. Kuehner and now Dr. Thompson.” ~ Dr. Thi
In other news, Kathy has joined the clinic as our new office manager. She is a WA native that spent the last decade on the east coast and has experience working in a holistic clinic and small businesses. We are confident that her calm and compassionate demeanor will bring a smooth transition to the front desk staff.
Another familiar face will be leaving us, Danica is headed to military service and will be saying goodbye to SHH this month. We appreciate her support at the front desk this year, are thankful for her service to our country, and wish her the best in her next chapter.
Additionally, in order to offer you the best care and seamless services, we will be transitioning to a new electronic medical record system in the new year and welcome your patience and understanding during this process.
Lastly, we are so grateful for our patients and want to thank you for continuing to choose SHH for your health needs. We wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season with all the best for 2020!
Warmly, Sound Holistic Health Team
